Words of Wisdom
Each individual is significant in their relationship to God.

Much  is incorporated in this  this "belief".  In the very act of "creating" a  a meal, a clean home, and completing their duties, Hutterites honour the holy in God, as they believe it to be part of their selves.  What they do, and how they do it is all in honor of their reverant approach to living.  It is part of affirming their belief as a Christian, it is part of living by example.

Yet and still, their views did not exclude progress, innovation or technology, insofar as they are useful in maintaining their religious lifestyle.  Their argument against technology seems to be when it interfers in their relationship to God, their behaviour as a Christian, or their relationships with each other.  Admiring technology and innovation for the more efficient use it made of their efforts, the stricture on progress seems to be that it not be worshipped in and of itself.
