Adult Baptism.
Modeling their religious practices on Christ, they are baptized as adults, as Christ and his followers were. Especially, Hutterites persons must be of adult age to appreciate and understand baptism.
Community of Goods
Hutterites base this on Acts 2:44, community of goods. Individuals work to better enrich the group, and the group cares for and nurtures the individual.
Pacifism.
They will not participate in wars. As well, Hutterites neither make nor bear arms. For example, if they manufactured metal (as some colonies have through the years), they would not make guns.
Separation of Church and State
They do not vote, or run for office. In accordance with their belief, only God can rule.
Marriage for Life
Hutterites marry for life.
